Day 47 Continued…Canon City to Guffey

I began to feel the effects of the high altitude. I suddenly became very weak and my vision started to blur to the point I couldn’t focus and my head began to ache. The altitude was making the ride impossible for me. I couldn’t go on at that point. A family on vacation stopped when I flagged them down. They were kind enough to give me a ride into Guffey.
