Continuing on to Silverthorne

The rush we felt was overwhelming. The driving force behind me in this effort is Terri, my special gal. Without her enthusiasm, this never would have happened. Then there is Steve Kurek, my biking partner whose encouragement has kept me on line and headed in the right direction. Steve has been right there when I needed him on several occasions when I was overwhelmed. These past two days have shown exactly who Steve is and what he’s made of.
The ride down the other side into Breckenridge was another rush. There were many continuous twists and turns on a roadway void of guard rails and with minimal shoulder. We made it without any mishaps and settled in for a great lunch…a very welcome lunch.
